What we know: Not much. There are a few pages that mention the strain and sell seeds. One describes it as an indica-dominant hybrid. Another page has a review that claims it helped the effects of a hangover and uplifted the mind.
First Dose: Small dose (.045g in a glass pipe)
For a few minutes after dosing, I don’t feel much. Suddenly a pleasant full-body buzz kicks in, however the head stays pretty clear. It’s an interesting combination that seems new to me.

The body buzz intensifies and I’m very aware of my whole body. A few minutes later the clear-headedness gives way to a slight stimulation in the front of the head, leading to slightly racing thoughts but nothing too bad.

At 15 minutes after dosing, I have a pleasant brain buzz, yet the head is clear and focused. This combined with the body awareness makes me think this strain would be perfect to pair with physical activity & exercise. I bust out some air squats and it feels good. I watch some TV and it seems especially intriguing. Suddenly I am very aware of my arms and hands, they feel heavy.
At 25 minutes (as I write this) I am suddenly overcome with a sense of mind and body expansion. Like a switch just flipped. I have one of those pause-and-look-around-and-appreciate-life moments. Things just got really trippy. This is where the experience can get spiritual if you surrender to it. I am overcome with gratitude for my life and the people in it, as well as the gift of having access to these lovely strains of cannabis.
This is some powerful shit.
After 15 more minutes, the expansive state is still kicking. I can say without question that The Baccara will be incorporated whenever I do yoga, and that it will be a very synergistic experience.
Things settle a bit at the 45-50 minute mark. I’m left with a nice clear-headed uplifted glow for the next 30 minutes. There is little to no lethargy on the comedown, I actually feel stimulated and am able to get stuff done around the house. Even after 2 hours I feel a slight stimulation in my head.
UPDATE November 2019: Since the original review, I have used the Baccara during some yoga classes. It has been absolutely amazing at fusing my mind and body, and allowing me to move slowly and with intention and be completely zoned-in. I have been vaping before class, as well as taking some homemade tincture.
If you enjoy combining yoga and cannabis, you owe it to yourself to try the Baccara before you practice next.
